Slow Going With The iMac.
Anytime you do a massive set of software installations on a new production machine it takes a while until the computer is fully usable. The ideal is to have your old machine working alongside your new one so you do not lose any functionality. Unfortunately, I did not have that option this time—the old Mac clone had to go back home again to make room on this desk. The new computer is almost working well, however. Just a handful of installations and updates, a big cleanup tonight and tomorrow with DiskWarrior, Norton Utilities and TechTool Pro, and it will be humming along nicely. It is actually doing pretty well just now, but that was mainly because I did a lot of work cleaning it up over the weekend.
