Why Bother Printing Any More?

Photographs look so incredible on the monitors of the new Apple iMacs and Cinema Displays that you must seriously wonder whether you should ever bother having photographs printed conventionally again.       Photographs only look inferior displayed in any other way than onscreen, beautifully backlit and rendered by thousands of tiny, tiny, glowing but sharp-edged LCDs.
